I GOT HOUSING!!!

Finally I got housing, I got the call on Friday and they said that they wanted me to sign the lease on Monday and I did and I am finally out of the shelter.  Even though it feels great I feel sad for having to leave my friends there (one friend more than others, you know who you are your name begins with a J.)  It's weird because I went in there thinking I am not here for friends, I don't to make friends, just be civil and show respect and thats all that I wanted in return.  I didn't realize how hard it would be to leave.  But I did and life goes on I just hope that the friendships that I did make will last a lifetime.  Even though I got housing I still plan to blog on this site so you haven't heard the last of me.  PEACE OUT!

Hello

Looks good! Very useful, good stuff. Good resources here. Thanks much!

Bye

Hi all!

Great book. I just want to say what a fantastic thing you are doing! Good luck!

G'night

Melissa, Melissa, Melissa. lol. I figured I'd "finally" leave a comment. (took me long enough huh?) You have no idea how much I miss you and Gianna. I am so very proud of you. You did it. GOOD JOB!!! Remember what I said, Marlborough or no Marlborough I am there for you no matter what. I know I came into the shelter as a firm believer that there are no friends in shelters and if anyone is going into one don't expect to make friends, but I have to say to everyone and anyone reading this comment that this is one amazing woman. It goes way beyond friends. I gained a sister.
Like I said Melissa Marlborough or no Marlborough I am there no matter what. I wish you guys the best of luck.
xoxo "THE" J ;)

Congratulations. I know it's hard to leave friends, but by doing so you may be motivating them by showing them what's possible and how to get there. I hope this is just one of many wonderful steps forward you'll be making

I hope you can stay connected with your friend whose name begins with J somehow! That can be so important.

This is a huge step forward and I'm sure all your friends are happy for you. You are also so generous in sharing your progess and providing hope for others who read this blog and may not be able to yet see the light. I hope you will continue to communicate as you move ahead. Best wishes.

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you and I hope we can maaintain our contact and work together on Beacon Hill to bring this wonderful opportunity to more families in Massachusetts. Please stay in touch with all of us as you continue on your journey.
Ruthie

That is awesome news! Congratulations, Melissa! I wish you the best of luck in your new home.
